Valuations

Valuations for any item or collection that a client wishes to be considered for sale by auction are free and without obligation. Such valuations, or estimates, reflect our assessment of the most appropriate level of value applicable for auction purposes, and of course do not necessarily define the likely result.

We are of course also very happy to respond to email enquiries. Please complete our Online Valuation Form shown below with a list of the books that you have for disposal, stating author, title and date. Images of the individual volumes and a picture or two of the books on the shelves or in the bookcase can also help to give us a better idea of what we are dealing with. There is a facility to upload images at the end of the Online Valuation Form. 

We undertake written valuations for insurance, probate or family division. Each valuation is costed on an individual basis and we will be pleased to provide you with a no-obligation quote.

We can arrange for one of our valuers to visit your home if required. These visits are usually free of charge providing the items being considered for sale are deemed of sufficient value.
